The Living Edit Product FAQs
Bamboo Bed Linen FAQs
Each set includes one fitted sheet, one flat sheet and two matching pillowcases, giving you everything you need to refresh your bed in one beautifully coordinated set. (Single sets contain one fitted sheet, one flat sheet and one pillow slip).
Our bed linen is made from 100% bamboo fabric with a luxurious 500 thread count. We chose bamboo for its exceptionally soft feel, breathability and ability to help create a comfortable sleeping environment throughout the year.
Bamboo bed linen is an excellent choice for hot sleepers. The fabric is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking, helping heat and moisture move away from the body rather than becoming trapped beneath the covers.
While no sheet can control body temperature completely, bamboo can help create a cooler and more comfortable sleep environment.
Yes. Bamboo is known for its thermo-regulating qualities, which means it can feel cool and breathable during warmer weather while remaining soft and comfortable during the cooler months.
This makes bamboo bed linen a beautiful year-round option for Australian homes.
Bamboo fabric has a smooth, soft surface that feels gentle against the skin, making it a popular choice for people with sensitive skin.
The Living Edit Bamboo Bed Linen is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been tested for a wide range of substances that may be harmful to human health. Individual sensitivities can vary, so always consider your own needs when choosing bedding.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent textile certification. It means every component of the certified product has been tested against criteria for substances that may be harmful to human health.
For us, it provides an additional level of reassurance when choosing something you will sleep in every night.
Both bamboo and cotton can make beautiful bed linen, but they feel different.
Bamboo generally has a softer, smoother and more fluid feel, while traditional cotton can feel crisper. Bamboo is also known for being breathable and moisture-wicking, making it particularly appealing to hot sleepers or anyone who prefers exceptionally soft sheets.
Bamboo is a naturally soft fabric and may develop gentle creases after washing. We think this relaxed finish is part of its charm.
To minimise wrinkles, remove your bed linen promptly from the washing machine and dryer, avoid overloading the machine and smooth the sheets over the bed while they are still slightly warm.
Always follow the instructions on the product care label. As a general guide, wash bamboo bed linen separately on a cool, gentle cycle using a mild detergent.
Avoid bleach, harsh stain removers and excessive fabric softener, as these may affect the fibres. Line drying in the shade or tumble drying on a low setting will help protect the softness and quality of the fabric.
Yes. Quality bamboo bed linen can become even softer with careful washing and regular use.
Avoiding high heat and harsh laundry products will help maintain the smooth feel and extend the life of your sheets.
The Living Edit Bamboo Bed Linen is available in:
Pure White — a fresh, timeless white that works in almost any bedroom.
Silver Birch — a soft, calming grey designed to complement both warm and cool interiors.
Yes. Beautiful bed linen is something people enjoy every night but may not always buy for themselves.
A bamboo sheet set makes a thoughtful gift for weddings, housewarmings, anniversaries, birthdays, mothers day, or anyone who deserves a more luxurious night’s sleep.
Bamboo Eye Mask FAQs
The Living Edit Eye Mask is made with beautifully soft 100% bamboo fabric. It was designed to complement our bamboo bed linen and bring the same smooth, comfortable feel to your nightly sleep ritual.
Bamboo fabric is soft, breathable and smooth against the delicate skin around the eyes.
It can help create a more comfortable sleeping experience without the heavy or overly warm feeling associated with some synthetic sleep masks.
A sleep mask reduces the amount of ambient light reaching your eyes, which can make it easier to create a darker and calmer sleep environment.
It can be particularly helpful for daytime naps, travel, early sunrises or bedrooms where light cannot be blocked completely. Sleep results will naturally vary from person to person.
The eye mask is designed to reduce surrounding light and help create a darker environment. The amount of light blocked may vary depending on your face shape, sleeping position and the fit of the mask.
The breathable nature of bamboo makes it a comfortable choice for people who tend to feel warm while sleeping.
It is designed to feel soft and light rather than bulky around the face.
The smooth bamboo fabric is designed to feel gentle against the face and the delicate area around the eyes.
Anyone with a known fabric sensitivity should check the complete product information before use.
Yes. The eye mask is designed for regular use as part of your evening routine.
Keep it clean, allow it to dry fully after washing and follow the product care instructions to help maintain its softness.
Follow the instructions on the care label. Gentle hand washing or washing inside a protective laundry bag may help preserve the shape and softness of the eye mask.
Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and allow it to dry naturally before wearing it again.
Yes. Its soft, lightweight design makes it easy to pack for flights, hotels, holidays or anywhere you may need a little help creating a darker sleep environment.
The Living Edit Bamboo Eye Mask is available in our signature restful green, selected to create a calm and luxurious feel.

Natural Multi-Purpose Cleaning Spray FAQs
It is an Australian-made, everyday surface cleaner created to lift dirt, grease, fingerprints and daily household mess from a wide range of sealed surfaces.
The formula is 99.9% naturally derived and fragranced with essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance.
The spray is designed for everyday cleaning on many sealed household surfaces, including:
- Kitchen benches
- Tables
- Highchairs
- Sealed laminate
- Sealed tiles
- Stainless steel
- Appliance exteriors
- Sealed timber
- Most sealed stone surfaces
Always check the care instructions supplied by the surface manufacturer and patch test in an inconspicuous area before broader use.
The spray may be suitable for many properly sealed stone surfaces. However, natural and engineered stone products can have different finishes, sealants and care requirements.
Always check your benchtop manufacturer’s instructions and patch test first. Do not use the product on unsealed, porous, damaged or specialty stone unless the manufacturer confirms it is suitable.
It may be used carefully on properly sealed timber surfaces.
Spray onto a cloth rather than directly onto the timber, avoid saturating the surface and wipe it dry. Do not use it on raw, unsealed, waxed or damaged timber without checking the manufacturer’s care instructions.
It means 99.9% of the formula’s ingredients are derived from natural source materials.
“Natural” does not mean that normal safety precautions can be ignored. As with any household cleaning product, follow the directions on the label, avoid contact with the eyes and keep it out of reach of children.
No. The fragrance comes from a blend of lemongrass, eucalyptus and tea tree essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance.
The scent was created to make everyday cleaning feel fresh and uplifting without leaving the home smelling like a traditional chemical cleaner.
It has a clean, fresh botanical scent led by vibrant lemongrass, balanced with eucalyptus and tea tree.
The fragrance is designed to smell fresh rather than overly sweet or perfume-heavy.
The formula contains:
Water (Aqua), Alcohol Denat., Decyl Glucoside, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Cymbopogon Flexuosus (Lemongrass) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid.
Please refer to the ingredient list printed on your bottle for the most current product information.
They are naturally derived surfactants. Surfactants help water loosen and lift grease, dirt and residue from a surface so that the mess can be wiped away more easily.
Yes. The formula is pH balanced for versatile everyday cleaning on many sealed household surfaces.
Because every surface and finish is different, pH balance does not replace the need to follow manufacturer instructions and patch test before use.
No. This product is designed as an everyday multi-purpose cleaner rather than a hospital-grade disinfectant.
Cleaning removes dirt, grease and everyday mess. Disinfecting is a separate process involving products that have been specifically tested and registered for that purpose.
The ingredients used in our cleaning spray have naturally antibacterial properties, helping to keep surfaces fresh and clean.
The spray has been created for everyday use in busy family homes and can be used on suitable sealed surfaces such as tables and highchairs.
However, it is still a cleaning product. Keep the bottle out of reach of children, do not allow children to handle it and follow all directions and warnings on the label.
The formula contains essential oils, so it sjhould be used with care around animals.
Keep pets away while spraying, avoid spraying near animals, food bowls, bedding, toys, tanks or enclosures, and allow the surface to dry before pets return. Ensure the room is well ventilated and speak with your veterinarian if your pet has a known sensitivity.
Follow the directions on the bottle and wipe the surface thoroughly after cleaning.
For surfaces that come into direct contact with food, follow any rinsing directions on the product label and the care instructions supplied by the surface manufacturer.
Turn the nozzle to the spray position, apply a small amount to the surface and wipe with a clean cloth.
For delicate, reflective or moisture-sensitive surfaces, spray the product onto the cloth first. For stubborn mess, allow the spray to sit briefly before wiping, provided the surface manufacturer permits this.
For the best result on stainless steel, spray lightly onto a clean microfibre cloth, wipe in the direction of the grain and buff the surface dry with a second cloth.
Using too much product or allowing it to air-dry may cause streaking.
No. Do not mix household cleaning products unless the label specifically directs you to do so.
Use one product at a time and wipe or rinse away any previous cleaner before applying another.
Yes. The Living Edit Natural Multi-Purpose Cleaning Spray is made in Australia.
Each bottle contains 500 mL of multi-purpose cleaning spray.

100% Cotton Reusable Knitted Dishcloth FAQs
Our reusable knitted dishcloths are made from 100% cotton — with no synthetic microfibre or plastic-based fibres.
They’re soft, absorbent and durable enough for everyday kitchen cleaning, while looking lovely enough to leave by the sink.
Each dishcloth measures 25cm x 25cm — a practical size for wiping benches, cleaning spills, washing dishes and tackling everyday kitchen mess without feeling bulky in your hand.
Yes. Our cotton dishcloths are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
This means the certified textile has been independently tested against criteria for a wide range of substances that may be harmful to human health.
It’s an extra level of reassurance for something you’ll use around your kitchen every day.
Many conventional microfibre cleaning cloths are made from synthetic fibres such as polyester and polyamide (nylon), which are forms of plastic.
Synthetic fabrics can release tiny plastic fibres as they are used and washed.
Our dishcloths are made from 100% cotton rather than synthetic microfibre, making them a simple swap for anyone looking to reduce plastic-based textiles around the home.
Cotton is a natural fibre, not a plastic.
Like most textiles, cotton can release tiny fibres through normal use and washing, but those fibres are not plastic microfibres.
Choosing a 100% cotton dishcloth instead of a polyester or nylon microfibre cloth is one simple way to reduce the number of plastic-based textiles used in your kitchen.
It depends on what matters most to you.
Microfibre can be effective at picking up very fine particles, but most microfibre cloths are made from synthetic plastic fibres.
Our 100% cotton cloths are absorbent, reusable, washable and made without synthetic fibres, making them a great choice for everyday kitchen cleaning if you’re trying to reduce plastic around your home.
The knitted texture gives the cloth a little extra grip, helping it pick up crumbs, spills and everyday grime while still feeling soft and flexible in your hand.
It also gives a humble kitchen essential a much nicer look — because even the dishcloth deserves a bit of an edit.
Yes — very much so.
They’re designed to be washed and reused again and again, rather than thrown away after a few uses.
Simply pop them into the washing machine when they need refreshing, let them dry thoroughly and they’re ready to go again.
Yes. One of our favourite things about them is how easy they are to care for.
Simply pop them in the washing machine with your regular laundry, following the care instructions on the label.
We recommend washing regularly and allowing them to dry completely between uses to keep them feeling fresh.
There isn’t one rule for every household, but kitchen cloths should be washed regularly — particularly after cleaning up raw food, heavily soiled areas or larger spills.
If your cloth looks dirty, smells less than lovely or has been used for a particularly messy job, it’s time for a wash.
Having a couple in rotation makes this much easier.
Rinse it thoroughly after use, squeeze out excess water and hang or spread it somewhere it can dry properly rather than leaving it scrunched up beside the sink.
Regular machine washing will also help keep it fresh.
A very small habit that makes quite a difference.
Yes. Cotton is naturally absorbent, making these cloths ideal for wiping up spills, cleaning kitchen benches and dealing with the general chaos that seems to appear approximately five minutes after you’ve cleaned the kitchen.
They’re designed for all sorts of everyday jobs, including:
- Wiping kitchen benches and tables
- Cleaning up spills
- Washing dishes
- Wiping sinks and taps
- Cleaning highchairs
- Wiping cupboard fronts
- General household cleaning
As always, take a little extra care with delicate surfaces and follow the surface manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
Absolutely. They make a very good pair.
Spray The Living Edit Multi-Purpose Cleaning Spray onto a suitable sealed surface or directly onto the cloth where appropriate, then wipe clean.
Together they create a simple everyday cleaning duo without the need for a synthetic microfibre cloth.
The cloths themselves are made from 100% cotton and are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, making them a practical option for everyday family cleaning.
If you’re using them with a cleaning product, always follow that product’s directions and safety instructions.
Choosing a reusable cotton cloth can help reduce reliance on disposable wipes and synthetic cleaning cloths.
Because ours are washable and designed to be used repeatedly, one cloth can replace many single-use alternatives over its lifetime.
We prefer to think of it as a small, practical swap rather than claiming that any product has zero environmental impact.
That depends on how often you use and wash it, but good care will help extend its life.
Wash regularly, avoid harsh bleach where possible, allow it to dry properly between uses and replace it once the fabric becomes worn or is no longer performing well.
Cotton is a natural fibre and some movement or slight shrinkage may occur with washing, particularly if exposed to high temperatures.
Following the care label and avoiding excessive heat will help maintain the cloth’s shape and size.
Follow the care instructions on the product label for the best result.
Where possible, air drying is a simple way to care for cotton and can help minimise unnecessary heat exposure.
Because sometimes the smallest things in our homes are the easiest to overlook.
Many of us have been using synthetic sponges and microfibre cloths for years without realising they’re made from plastic-based fibres.
We wanted to create an everyday alternative that was simple, reusable, washable and made from 100% cotton — without sacrificing how lovely it looks sitting by the sink.
A very small edit. One less plastic-based textile in the kitchen.
